Turbine steam condensates are re-circulated in power plants. In order to ensure the required condensate quality or steam quality, degradation products from steam conditioning and impurities must be safely removed. This can be achieved on the one hand by fine filtration, with which particulate corrosion products can be removed, and on the other hand by high-performance mixed-bed ion-exchange stages. Externally regenerated mixed beds are used to avoid uncontrolled input of regeneration chemicals.
H+E has developed various regeneration systems for this purpose and can therefore meet the highest quality requirements for ion exchang separation efficiency and degree of regeneration. Many reliably operating plants confirm the quality of the mixed-bed plants.
