Pulp & Paper
Pulp and paper production has traditionally been very energy-intensive and water-intensive.
Increasing operating costs and ever stricter legal requirements therefore often require ecological optimisation of industrial processes. As a result, water cycles are becoming more and more closed and treatment plants are needed to treat these circulation waters. This also results in concentrated water and waste water for which existing water treatment plants and waste water treatment plants are often no longer suitable. Moreover, there are increasingly stringent environmental requirements for the discharge of waste water, for example in accordance with the Waste Water Ordinance Annexes 19 and 28, which entail significantly more complex or extended treatment steps. Ultimately, new or expanded treatment concepts are required.
To meet such requirements, the globally active H+E Group draws on an extraordinary wealth of experience acquired over more than 40 years. Currently, plants we have developed treat more than one million cubic metres of waste water per year worldwide. The generation of process water and the proven, stable and energy-optimised waste water treatment processes are also part of our expertise.
